Everyone wants beautiful, health hair. Long, silky hair is sexy and nice to touch, but how to get it? If you have frizzy, greasy, dry hair or have split ends or even if you are losing your hair, we have some remedies to help you out.

Applying these natural hair packs once or twice a week is really going to make a difference in the way your hair looks and feels. Different hair types respond better to different ingredients so don’t get discouraged if one of them doesn’t work for you; simply try another one!

1. Onion Juice Pre-conditioner

Yep, you got it, onions. Take a white, medium sized onion and put it in your juicer. Add two teaspoons of raw honey and mix well. Apply this mixture to your hair and let it sit for 45 minutes to one hour. Wash and condition your hair afterwards as you usually would.

 

2. Olive and Egg Hair Pack

Beat one egg very well. Mix one tablespoon of honey and two tablespoons of olive oil in with the egg. Apply this mixture to your hair and cover with a shower cap, then a towel. Leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, and then wash your hair with your favorite shampoo.

3. Papaya Hair Pack

Take one cup of sliced papaya and blend it with a fork or a spoon so it makes a paste, Mix this paste into a half a cup of plain yogurt. Apply this mixture to your scalp. Use a shower cap and let it soak into your hair for about 10 minutes. Rinse, and then wash your hair as usual.

4. Coconut Oil Overnight Pack

Mix about half a cup of coconut oil (depending on your hair length) and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply to your hair and put on a tight fitting shower cap or bathing cap so it won’t leak onto your pillow. Leave on overnight, and then wash your hair as you normally would the next morning.

 

5. Stop the Frizzies Conditioner

This remedy can help stop the frizzies many of us get from blow drying or over bleaching our hair. In one liter of plain water, mix in one tablespoon of raw honey. Shake it up well and after you shampoo, apply this mixture to your hair. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse.

 

6. Potato and Honey Pack

Put two or three potatoes in your juicer. Into the potato juice, add one egg yolk, one tablespoon of raw honey and a bit of water if it’s too thick. Mix well and apply to your hair before you shampoo. Leave this mixture on your hair for about 30 minutes, then rinse. Shampoo your hair as you normally would afterwards.

 

7. Coriander Conditioner

Use your blender and make a paste from freshly chopped coriander leaves and just a bit of water. Apply this paste to your hair and put on a shower cap. Leave this mixture on your hair for about 45 minutes to an hour, then rinse. Wash your hair as you normally would afterwards.

8. Garlic Re-grow Rinse

Take 5 or 6 cloves of garlic and press them or put them in your juicer. Mix the juice with a bit of water and, after shampooing, rub this mixture into your scalp. Let it sit for a minute, then rinse. 9. Carrot Pack

Don’t buy those expensive carrot hair treatments you see at the beauty salon, make you own for a fraction of the cost!

Boil two or three carrots in just enough water to cover for about 10 minutes. Turn off the flame and allow to cool. Smash up the carrots in the water you used to boil them in so it makes a paste. Apply this paste to your hair and scalp and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse well, then shampoo as usual.

 

10. Banana Almond Pack for Damaged Hair

If you have really damaged hair from too much coloring or blow drying, try this super moisturizing hair pack.

Take a ripe banana and mash it up thoroughly in a bowl. Add one tablespoon of almond oil and mix well. Apply this paste to your hair, paying special attention to the roots. Leave this mixture on your hair for about 20 minutes. Rinse well, and shampoo as you normally would.
