1. Palm Exercises

These are meant to stimulate the various acupuncture points surrounding the eye area. This will help relax the muscles around the eye.  Sit in front of a table so you can rest your elbows on the table. Rub your palms together so they become very warm, and then cup them over your eyes. Keep your eyes closed. Don’t out pressure on the eyeball, just cup your hands lightly over the eyes. Let your fingers rest gently on your forehead. Allow your hands to cool, and then repeat. Do this repeatedly for a period of about 3 minutes.

2. Sunning

The sun provides powerful healing power. Once every day, allow the sun to shine directly on your closed eyes while breathing deeply. You only need to do this for about 2 minutes per day. Never look directly at the sun as this can damage your eyes.

3. Ginkgo Biloba

This ancient Chinese herb improves circulation and improves the blood flow to the eyes.  Ginkgo Biloba can protect your eyes from age related problems such as macular degeneration and glaucoma. Take a supplement twice or three times per day for a total of 120mg daily. Do not give this herb to children. If you have diabetes, speak to your doctor first.
