8. Yogurt

Eating plain, unsweetened yogurt with live, active cultures is another good way to keep the colon healthy. Yogurt is full of probiotics, which introduce millions of good bacteria into your entire digestive system as well as the colon. This fights inflammatory bowel diseases and inhibits the growth of cells inside the colon. Eat a minimum of two servings of unsweetened yogurt each day.

 

9. Eat a High Fiber Diet
