6. Sequential Eating and Combining Food

Our bodies use different types of enzymes in order to digest different types of foods. Some foods create a more alkaline environment in the body, and others create a more acidic environment.

When we eat certain food groups together it can create a neutral state in the digestive system so that foods do not get digested the way they should. Food combining is easier than you think.

Don’t mix starches and proteins; eat fruit on an empty stomach and by themselves. Eat greens whenever, wherever, and as much as you want, they mix with anything.
