RoundUp Can Cause Cancer Even in Very Low Doses

In a study published as recently as 2013, researchers showed that glyphosate is an xenoestrogen, it’s similar to estradiol ( the most potent estrogen in humans) and even when we are talking about glyphosate in something as miniscule as parts per trillion, it still had carcinogenic results. Find out other cancer causing foods.

Also, it’s scary when you find that more than 90 percent of the soybeans grown in the US are GM and are treated with glyphosate; this study showed that the phytoestrogen, found naturally in soy, had an even heightened estrogen effect. This study suggested that this may cause postmenopausal women to begin growing tumors and cancer.

The scary things about this study is that is showed that the estrogenic effects of this chemical through soybean and soybean products can pose breast cancer risks because of the stronger presence of estrogen like phytoestrogens. Perhaps this is why we have had such huge rises in the rates of breast cancer in the US.

Scandalous GM Food Study Retracted

This information, that GM foods and RoundUp causes cancer, isn’t new and this isn’t the first time studies have shown this link. There was a study done in 2012 performing an evaluation of the health of animals that were fed a “lifetime” supply of GM foods. Rats there were fed a diet of a type of GM corn (that is sold in America) for two years showed that these test subjects had severe liver damage, kidney malfunction, and developed huge mammary tumors. These rats were not fed massive amounts of this food, either. It constituted 11 per cent of their overall diet and the water they drank contained only 0.1 parts per billion of RoundUp residue. This is the amount that the US government says is safe.

When the researchers speak of “massive” tumors, they aren’t kidding nor are they exaggerating. These tumors were generally 25 per cent of the rats total body weight.

This research was considered so controversial that it was done under terms of complete secrecy, this according to an article in the French review Le Nouvel Observateur. This article states that the researchers used only encrypted emails, absolutely no phone calls, and to deflect interest in the real study, they also performed a fake study. This study would have been the proverbial nail in the coffin for the biotech industry, but then this journal began receiving numerous letters to the Editor insisting that there was fraud involved and demanding that this story be retracted.  Even though the editors could find no fraud, they retracted this study anyway. Could it be because in early 2013, Richard E. Goodman, a former employee of Monsanto, was named the Associate Editor for this journal just before the study was retracted?

Warning: Eat these foods at your own risk

Some of you might be wondering that if GM foods are so deadly, then why aren’t Americans dropping over dead at alarming rates? Consider this; the rate of chronic diseases that Americans have been diagnosed with has reached epidemic proportions, which means many thousands of people ARE dying before their time. Also, remember that the lifespan of a rat is only a few years, perhaps 5 a most. This why you would see these developments happen in rats in a matter of just a few years. Humans live, on average, about 80 years. GM foods have only been widely used for about the past 10 years or so. We will see the results of this human experiment in the next 5 or 6 decades, to be sure. But ask yourself, do YOU want to be a part of this experiment? If you eat these foods, like it or not, you are Monsanto’s latest lab rat.
