1.  Delightful Detox Bath

Adding a cup of baking soda and a cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath results in a delightful spa-like experience that will soak away aches and pains while detoxing the body at the same time. A nice side note here is that it will also clean the tub and drain when you are done.


2. Isotonic Drink

For a super rehydrating drink after a hard game of sports, working out, or even a bout with diarrhea, we have a mixture better than anything you can buy at the store. The baking soda in this drink will delay lactic acid, which is a waste product of extremely tired muscles after intense physical effort. Mix 1 tablespoon of castor sugar, ½ a teaspoon of salt, ¾ teaspoon of baking soda. Add this mixture in ¼ of a glass of water. When it has dissolved, mix the water in ¾ cup of lemonade.


3.  Excellent Exfoliator

Make a paste from three parts baking soda and one part water. You can use this paste on your face or body as a natural and gentle exfoliator that is inexpensive enough to use every day if you like. You can add a few drops of any essential oil scent that you like to give it a pleasing scent.
