4. Cabbage and Family
Foods that belong to the cabbage family, such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, radishes, all colors and types of cabbage, cauliflower, and turnips all contain high levels of anti-cancer compounds which prevent numerous types of cancer. Cabbage contains high levels of glucosinolates, which regulate inflammation in the body as well as removing toxins. Sinigrin is a powerful type of glucosinolates that has been proven to help prevent bladder cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer. Cabbage is best eaten raw or lightly steamed.
