3. Make Your Own Magnesium Foot Scrub
No need to pay for a pedicure and risk getting athlete’s foot when you can make you own magnesium-infused foot scrub that smells terrific, exfoliates your feet, and moisturizes them at the same time. You can use different essential oils to get different scents or just pick your favorite.
Although this is called a foot scrub, you can actually use it anywhere on your body, including your face. It leaves your skin soft, smooth, and a little tingly.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Epsom salt
- ¼ cup almond oil or olive oil
- 1 teaspoon liquid castile soap
- 10 to 15 drops of your favorite essential oils. Good ones to start with are lavender and vanilla or lemon and rosemary
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients, adding the essential oils about 5 drops at a time until the desired scent is achieved.
- Store in an airtight container and use about 1 tablespoon on each foot or on any part of the body that you desire.
- Rinse with warm water.

These do-it-yourself recipe suggestions sound great, but lazy moi would rather stick to eating magnesium-rich foods.
