Used freezers are generally less than half the price of new, especially if you buy them during the winter months, particularly around the holidays.

Freezers will more than pay for themselves and the electricity they use. Buy milk, breads, fruit, and veggies when they are on sale and freeze them for later use. Make double meals and freeze half for another time when you won’t have time to cook.

This will save you a small fortune as well as keep you eating healthy foods at home because when you don’t have time to cook, you wind up going to the drive through or ordering in. Buy the newest freezer you can afford and keep it as full as possible to save on electricity costs.
