6.  Hot Fudge

OK, so it’s not a health food, but when you’ve got the craving, you’ve got the craving!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of butter (not margarine!)
  • 1/3 Cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 Cups of sugar
  • 1 1/3 Cups of cream
  • 1 Teaspoon of real vanilla
  • ½ Teaspoon of cinnamon

Instructions:

  • Mix the butter, cocoa, sugar, and cream in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in the vanilla and cinnamon.
  • Cool slightly, then pour hot over your ice cream.
  • Store the extra (if you have any!) in the refrigerator.
