Unfortunately, one of our problems is that even organic produce can’t give us the vitamins and minerals that it once did. Our toxic, depleted soils stop our produce from absorbing nutrients from the ground. This is why many people, no matter how healthy their diet might be, take supplements. Don’t make the mistake of falling for those synthetic supplements; we are talking about real supplements such as lemon peels for vitamin C, chlorella, spirulina, and rose hips. You can make literally hundreds of different types of herbal tinctures or dried extracts that will keep your immune system strong and stop cancer before it can begin. A few herbs that you can use that are known to have cancer killing power are:

  • Clove oil
  • Red clover
  • Skullcap
  • Echinacea
  • Goldenseal
  • Barberry
  • Oil of oregano
  • Astragalus
  • Pau d’arco
  • Cat’s claw
  • Ashwagandha

A new study shows that an extract from wormwood, artemesinin, turns into a lethal weapon against cancer in the presence of iron. Scientists know that breast cancer cells contain very high levels of iron. Artemesinin finds these higher than normal iron levels and kills the cancer cells, leaving the surrounding healthy tissue with little or no damage. That makes this herb perhaps the most powerful weapon in our arsenal against breast cancer. In fact, in this study, artemesinin killed all breast cancer cells in a 16 hour period. Although this was done in a lab setting, you will find artemesinin tablets everywhere as a means of fighting malaria. Malaria is parasite that consumes large quantities of iron. Artemesinin finds these high iron areas in the body and kills the parasite.

In addition to organic vegetables and fruits, there are numerous herbs and spices that have also been shown to be powerful cancer fighters in numerous studies. Some of the best of these are:

  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Oregano
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Cloves
  • Turmeric
