All Natural Herbal Hairspray

  • 1.5 Cups of water
  • 1/2 Cup of white sugar
  • 15 (more or less) Drops of your chosen essential oil

  • Add the water to a pot and boil it.
  • Add the sugar to the water and dissolve it thoroughly.
  • Allow to cool to room temperature.
  • Add your essential oils. You can add more or less depending on how strongly you would like your hairspray to smell. Don’t be afraid to mix a couple of scents to make something unique!
  • Add this mixture to a spray bottle.
  • Shake the bottle a few times before each use.

This next recipe is a mixture of the previous two with an added bonus of using natural citrus juice, which will encourage hair growth, give your hair some much needed antioxidants, as well as make it smell fabulous. Again, don’t worry, the juice will not make your hair sticky or attract bugs. Try it and you will see for yourself; this is a terrific way to keep your hair in place and not have to breathe in those dangerous chemicals.
