Another big favorite of doggies everywhere. Cheese can be added to regular dog food to increase its protein levels, or you can slip them a pill when you hide it in a piece of cheese. (Don’t let your dog know, however, as this is a human secret!). In a pinch, if you run out of dog food, some cheese and peanut butter is a great substitute.
3. Yogurt
Plain, unsweetened yogurt is another nice treat for Spike. Yogurt is just as good for your canine friend as it is for you.
4. Carrots
