What To Eat Today For Better Sex Tomorrow!
Everyone agrees: Cardiologists, psychologists, and sexologists know that what you eat today will have a huge effect on your sex life tomorrow!
We aren’t talking about aphrodisiacs, but foods that support a healthy sex life overall. Clogged arteries and foggy brains are not conducive to a good night in bed.
Want to know what foods you can add to your diet to keep all the plumbing in good working order (and who doesn’t?!)? Keep reading! We are going to let you in some little known secrets about food you eat every day and your sex life.
1. Eat Your Greens
Everyone knows that vegetables are healthy, but what most people don’t know is that spinach and other green veggies are a good source of magnesium. Magnesium is very important when it comes to dilating the blood vessels. More blood to the genitals means greater arousal and easier orgasms for both men and women. Green veggies also contain a healthy source of folate. Folate naturally lowers blood levels of homocysteine. This is an abrasive substance that can encourage plaque to stick to the lining of the arteries. So eat plenty of spinach, Swiss chard, bok choy, cabbage, kale, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts for some super sex you can count on.
2. Green Tea
Green tea, and other teas, contain powerful antioxidants called catechins. Catechins stimulate blood flow to all areas of the body, including the brain and sex organs. The catechins in green tea is called ECGC, and it is very powerful; in fact, this is one of the most powerful antioxidants on the face of the planet. Green tea can also help you lose weight, which is always good for your self-esteem. Forget the bottled or canned stuff, however, as it is highly processed and not worth squat.

3. Watermelon and Other Fruits
Believe it or not, the University of Texas Medical Branch found that men who ate at least 200 mgs of vitamin C each day had improved sperm count and mobility. You might want to think about picking up some watermelon while you are at it. Watermelons are loaded with beta carotene, phytonutrients, lycopene, and citrulline, which are known to be super good for your heart and good for sex! Citrulline is especially important for good sex because it relaxes the blood vessels. So stock up on citrus fruits, peaches, pears, and watermelon for some sizzling sex later on!
4. Seeds and Nuts
It’s crunch time! Peanuts, walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds — just about every kind of nut and seed is loaded with healthy monounsaturated fats. Monounsaturated fats help the body produce healthy levels of cholesterol. Although you might think that cholesterol is a bad word, the truth is that the body cannot function without it, especially your sex hormones. No cholesterol means no sex hormones, which basically means you won’t be interested in doing any chaka chaka. The Journal of the American College of Nutrition has found that pistachios also have a type of plant cholesterol which can lower those unhealthy cholesterol levels while improving the good cholesterol you need to pump up your sex life. No matter what kind of nut or seed is your favorite, enjoy about an ounce each day, and find out why you should go nuts about nuts!
5. Oatmeal and Whole Grains
If you want an increased libido, then you want to increase testosterone levels. This male hormone is also present in women, and it has a whole lot to do with the strength of your sex drive and the strength of your orgasm, so you will want to eat plenty of foods that increase testosterone. Oatmeal is one of those foods. Oats contain an amino acid called L-arginine. This compound has been used effectively to treat erectile dysfunction to relax the muscles around blood vessels. More blood to the genitals means a bigger libido. Try adding oatmeal to your breakfast plans or afternoon snacks and see if this doesn’t add some sizzle to the bedroom.
