9. DO invest in naturally organic cotton clothing

As we mentioned above, don’t encourage companies to produce more GM crops. Pure organic cotton clothing might cost a bit more, but they are so worth the investment.

10. DON’T eat factory farmed meats

Most factory farmed cows, pigs, and chickens are fed a truly disgusting diet of cheap GM corn and soy. If you are what you eat, then these animals are filling you up with GM foods. Choose only organic, grass fed animals. The “certified organic” label on meat means that your animal was not fed GM foods.

11. DO buy raw or organic milk products

Cows that eat a more natural diet give better quality milk and milk products. Look for the ‘certified organic’ label or buy raw milk products. Talk to a dairy farmer at your local farmers market if you can’t find these products at your store.

12.  DO cook at home more

Whenever you eat out, even if it’s at a 5 star restaurant, chances are that they are using GM foods, oils, and factory farmed meats. When you cook from scratch at home you will know exactly what your food contains. It’s healthier for you and saves money as well.

Mother Nature knew what she was doing when she made food for us. When we take care of her (the soil) she will produce foods that nourish our bodies with healthy goodness. We don’t need big corporations to try and improve on Mother Nature.
