12 Effective Foods Which Fight And Destroy Cancer Cells

Despite what you might have heard in the mainstream media, there really is no such thing as a cancer cell that cannot be defeated. The main difference between cancers that continue to grow in the body and those that don’t is what we put inside our bodies to stop their growth and destroy these mutant cells.

When given a proper diet, the human immune system can naturally fight off cancer cells. The journal Science Translation Medicine published a study in which researchers identified a molecule, called TlC10, which was shown to activate a protein that helps to fight disease and destroy cancer cells. This protein, called tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis inducing ligand, or TRAIL for short, can cross the blood-brain barrier.

This means that while chemotherapy is stopped from passing the blood-brain barrier because the body is smart enough to know that this is not good for the brain, TRAIL proteins are allowed to pass through to provide their beneficial effects.

Basically it comes down to eating a healthy, natural diet to prevent cancer. Some foods are superstars when it comes to improving the immune system and fighting cancer cells naturally.

Researchers out of South Korea recently published a study that found that the carotenoids from chlorella can effectively prevent cancer in human subjects. Perhaps this is because chlorophyll is known to neutralize toxins and environmental pollutants while carrying oxygen to all cells in the body. Cancer simply cannot grow in cells that are fully oxygenated.

Although spirulina cannot remove heavy metals from the body like chlorella can, it does have powerful immune stimulating compounds.
