12 Natural Ways To Prevent Hair Loss (We Love #5!)
Fenugreek is another highly effective way of stopping hair loss. The seeds from this plant have hormone antecedents, which rebuild hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. To use this method, soak one cup of fenugreek seeds in some water overnight. Strain, and then grind the seeds into a paste. Apply the paste to your hair and scalp, massaging it well. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave the paste on for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash your hair as you normally would. Repeat this method at least three times a week. Many people report results from this method within four weeks.
Rosemary essential oil can prevent hair loss through the stimulation of hair roots. This oil will increase blood circulation, which will also prevent hair loss. Add four to six drops of rosemary essential oil into a good quality carrier oil and massage this oil into your hair and scalp. Allow this oil to soak into your scalp for 10 to 20 minutes, and then wash your hair as you normally would. Repeat this at least twice each week for best results.
9. Aloe Vera
You know aloe vera is good for the skin, but did you know that the same enzymes that encourage healthy skin also encourage healthy hair? Aloe vera also has alkalizing compounds that can keep the pH of your hair and scalp to a more normal level, which can encourage hair growth. Regular use of aloe vera can help to relieve scalp redness and irritation, adding strength and luster to the hair. You can use either aloe vera gel or juice. Apply either the gel or juice to the scalp and massage it in well. Leave it on for 30 minutes, and then wash your hair as you normally would. Repeat three times each week. You can also consume one tablespoon of aloe vera juice each day to encourage hair growth from the inside out.
