8. Other Vegetables

There really doesn’t seem to be a negative veggie in this world, but some are better with the alkaline issue than others. Some other great vegetables that will help keep your pH in balance are celery, cucumbers, onions, romaine lettuce, peppers (all kinds and colors), and peas.

 

9. Garlic

Garlic is one of the best foods you can consume daily for numerous health benefits and protection, so it’s not really surprising to find it here as well. Garlic will give you protection from viruses, an improved immune response, a much lowered risk of developing chronic diseases, and give you better heart health due to lowered cholesterol levels and blood pressure. On top of all this, you also get the alkaline effect too! Try to eat one or two fresh cloves, slightly crushed, every day.

10. Minerals

There are also plenty of minerals that produce an alkaline effect including magnesium, potassium, chromium, iron, calcium, and selenium. Although you can get many of these from the foods you eat, some of these, such as magnesium, are not always in sufficient amounts due to soil depletion. Take a good mineral supplement each day to ensure that your body is getting the minerals it needs and doesn’t remove them from your bones in order to do so. Your bones will thank you, and your alkaline levels will naturally be raised at the same time.

When your body has all the nutrients it needs, is clear of toxins, and can work in its naturally alkaline state, good health and longevity is sure to follow. Who doesn’t want that?
