17. Peanuts
Although all nuts have tons of health benefits, peanuts provide off-the-chart levels of resveratrol, the same cancer fighting substance found in grapes and red wine. Resveratrol lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease, the risk of colorectal cancer (due to their high fiber content), and they make a fantastic afternoon snack.
