There is hardly a person in the USA who doesn’t have Wi-Fi in their homes or business. Or if you somehow lack it at home, there is Wi-Fi everywhere we go; restaurants, hotels, airports, coffee shops, even public parks. Even children as young as 5 years old have their own cell phones or at the very least know how to play games on their parent’s phones. We are simply surrounded by wireless network devices! Have you ever thought, however, about the massive radioactive EMFs your body is being exposed to?  Even the World Health Organization has stated that they have anxiety as well as speculation as to the safety of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and their effects on your health.

Think that your one little wireless router is pretty well harmless? It might be if it was the only source of EMF’s, but consider the list of possible Wi-Fi sources you are exposed to besides the one in your home or office:

  • Cordless phones
  • So called Smart Meters for electric company’s
  • Radio links between buildings
  • Baby monitors
  • Wireless security video cameras
  • Wireless alarm systems
  • Walkie Talkies
  • Remote controls such as remote gates, garage door openers, etc.
  • Neighbors wireless routers
  • Wireless routers in public areas such as parks and airports

These are in addition to the hundreds of electrical devices that emit EM fields such as washing machines, kitchen appliances, televisions, fluorescent lamps, water pumps, electric can openers, mixers, computers, and video display monitors, just to name a few.  As you can see, dangerous radioactive EMF’s are all around us, 24/7.  The powerful industries that supply us with these devices want you to believe that they are harmless because you cannot see, touch, or taste these radioactive waves, but that is simply not true.

So exactly what are the risks involved with prolonged, uninterrupted exposure to these Wi-Fi signals? Take a look at our top 10 health risks, and then plug in an Ethernet cable to your laptop.

1.  Alters Our Ability to Learn

The EMF’s from Wi-Fi and cell phone signals can cause a type of disorganization in the brain, which affects our ability to learn, as well as to remember.  There are an increasing number of reports, worldwide, that children especially are showing signs of deteriorating cognitive abilities due to the abuse and overuse of internet and mobile phone technology.

2.   Increased Risk of Certain Types of Cancer

The International Agency for Research on Cancer conducted a study done in 2011 that determined that exposure to these EMF’s should be considered a possible carcinogen and concluded that EMF exposure, especially excessive cell phone usage, were responsible for up to 9 types of cancer, including brain cancer, cancer of the salivary gland, testicular cancer, thyroid cancer, leukemia, and breast cancer.

3.  Risk to Fertility and Sperm Count

Have you noticed that infertility problems seem to be increasing?

It seems almost everyone knows someone who is having trouble conceiving a child.

Recent studies show that the radiation from cell phones can have serious effects on a man’s sperm count as well as the quality of the sperm itself.

4. Possible Cause of ADHD

In a study done at Yale University, a cell phone was suspended above a cage full of pregnant mice.

The phone was transmitting the entire 17 days that the mice were pregnant.

The offspring of those mice were later tested and all showed signs of ADHD, as well as altered brain patterns that were permanent.

5. Interrupted Sleep

Insomnia or an inability to fall asleep might also seem like it’s on the rise, and this, too, is possibly related to cell phone and other wireless devices.

Although no scientific studies have been done in this area to date, there have been many reports from ordinary people who state that they themselves, and/or their families, had difficulty sleeping or problems falling asleep that seemed to be resolved once cell phones and routers were turned off.

Cell phones that are kept next to the bed seem to affect REM sleep.

If you find that you are having difficulty sleeping, turn off all electronic devices before bedtime and see if you notice a difference.

6. Affects Immune System

In a report published in 2007, the BioInitiative Report had evidence that showed EMF’s were responsible for a dramatic change in the body’s immune system response, causing it to become confused and unreliable.

7. Alzheimer’s

Scientists have conducted research studies that show EMF radiation can lead to some very serious diseases of the brain such as cancer as well as Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease.

8. Chronic Stress

In the same study submitted by the BioInitiative Report, it was stated that the constant flow of EMF’s caused the body to respond in the same manner it would to chronic stress, by increasing stress hormones and proteins, which are one of the causes of heart disease and a lowered immune system response.

9.  Causes Childhood Cancer

A group of international scientists stated their studies showed that continued exposure to radioactive EMF’s could be behind the rise in childhood cancers, especially leukemia.

10.  Birth Defects

Other studies link the over exposure of EMF’s to enzyme changes that actually affect a person’s DNA and the growth of cells, which can result in birth defects in fetus’s and various cancers later in life.
