Then, for the next 5 days, make a juice of equal portions of beetroot, carrots, and cucumbers. Mix well and drink at least 8 ounces twice a day. This should relive your discomfort. Milk thistle has long been used as a cure for gallstones. The active ingredient, silymarin, is actually in the seeds of the plant. 5. Artichoke Compounds
