3. Mint Toner

Mix some fresh, organic mint leaves in hot water. (Not boiling water) Allow this solution to cool. When completely cool (room temperature), saturate a cotton ball in the mint/water, then use the cotton ball to wipe your face.

4. Cucumber Toner

Add fresh slices of cucumber to a small bowl of water and allow to sit for about 20 minutes. Saturate a cotton ball in the mixture and rub over your face. Cucumber soothes and reduces inflammation of the skin and will also remove excess dirt and oil. Cucumber masks are often used to give your face a firmer, smoother look.

 

5. Aloe Vera Toner

Mix ¼ cup of water with the clear gel from one fresh aloe vera leaf. (Simply cut off a leaf then squeeze out the clear gel) Mix these two ingredients well, and then apply to your face with a cotton ball. Let dry a few minutes, and then rinse off with cool water. 7.  Peach and Olive Oil Mask

Take two medium sized organic peaches and remove the skin and pit. Mash them up well in a bowl and then add one tablespoon of olive oil or sweet almond oil. If you like, you can also add one teaspoon of cream to this mixture as well. Apply this to your face and let sit for 15 or 20 minutes, and then rinse off with cool water.

 

8.  White Vinegar Toner

Mix one part water with one part of plain white vinegar. Apply to your face, after washing, with a clean cotton ball and wipe all over your face. Allow to dry, do not rinse. This is an old fashioned home toner remedy that works very well.

 

9. Rosewater Toner

This is an ancient remedy to make the skin brighter, as well as reduce those fine lines. It reduces the appearance of large pores and smells good as well! You can buy rosewater at any department store, drug store, or health food store. Read the label to be sure you are getting pure rosewater! Apply to your face daily for soft, oil free skin.

10. Curd and Cucumber Mask

Grate a fresh, organic cucumber and mix it with curd. Apply this paste to your face and leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse with cool water. This is a great toner that leaves the skin oil free and beautifully bright.

 

11. Green Tea Toner

Green tea is full of powerful antioxidants that will help stop free radicals that cause premature aging of the skin. It’s surprisingly moisturizing while it removes excess oils at the same time.
