3. Lemon Turmeric Tonic
If you are in the habit of drinking lemon water in the morning, you can add turmeric to it for a super anti-inflammatory tonic that will really get your day off to a great start!
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup of Warm (not too hot!) Water
- ½ Teaspoon of Turmeric Powder or ½ Inch of Fresh Turmeric
- Juice from ½ of an Organic Lemon
- Dash of Cinnamon
- Dash of Black Pepper
- Honey or Stevia to Taste
Add the turmeric to the water, and then add the lemon juice, cinnamon, pepper and honey. Stir well. The turmeric will likely settle to the bottom so drink this quickly or stir it in between sips.
